Ron, You guy's just don't get it do you All women are easy to please, just do what they say and your life will be stress free ;D Building a House is easy once you have the plan's and know what you want where... it's the contractors that are the royal pain in the butt. To get things done the way you & Jackie want them has to be the hard part. I built one house and a house & total horse farm and let me tell you .. never again !! I loved when they all took off during hunting season and you couldn't get any one to work while that went on for a month !! So do you have a moose hunting season in Canada

Oh yeah Arlene, I know what you mean. The fella that framed our last two houses is a good friend and an avid hunter. He black bear guides for Jim Shocky. Once hunting season started the projects came to a grinding halt. BC is one of the largest moose populated provinces in Canada.

The island supports Elk, Cougar and Black Bear. www.huntingvancouverisland.com/The contractor for our build is 'Ron'. After seeing what a contractor does with his last build, he figured he could do it himself. Ron is 'Mr. Handyman' so I'm pretty spoiled. Except for when it comes to changing light bulbs And NO...Ron doesn't do what I say either I work for him and he often forgets to take off his 'BOSS' hat with me. I'd love to see how long you two would last...Hahahaa....he's so lucky that I'm so easy going.

Yeah, about that Jackie.. I think Ron & I would last a nano second.. I used to be such a push over it was sickening, but man have I grown a back bone I just don't take very much anymore.. My inner "Bull" came out and you just don't want to go there with me when I get angry.. I am a total Taurus and take only so much before I explode and out comes the Italian part as well, so no we wouldn't make it :-) Good luck on the house, I'm sure it is a whole lot better having Ron as the contractor. I know my house here ( that my son is now living in) I gave up working with most of them here so did it all almost by my self.. now that's how you get things done your way ;D The only help I had was installing the carpet and flooring, also replacing a few broken windows some electric work was contracted out, but everything else I did my self..
