I don't think Jenny could figure out the computer Dan, but as we all know Scooter is very good with it  After all he is the one who runs the forum ;)So Scooter could have emailed Emma.. ;D I wouldn't put it past them  I guess Emma is telling everyone, it's hers!!! |

How is Jenny doing on her new meds? I was thinking about her today. Sure hope it's working. No issues. We've been leaving them in the back bedroom at night, so we sure sleep better without the parade of cats across the bed, and they don't seem to mind it either. We have a house full of guests coming for Thanksgiving, and have decided to board both of them. Hindsight being 20/20 we are pretty sure it's "New People" in her area that pisses her off, no pun intended. It's easier on them both, and we don't have to check the guest bedroom every hour to see if she has pee'd on the bed, or worry about them being let out accidentally, or getting stepped on. The spray does seem to help. Both of them seem more relaxed overall. It might be wishful thinking, but we have stopped discussing giving her up... |

Well, she's back to pooping on the spare bedroom bed every night. I'm gonna strangle that cat...

Sorry to hear it.. maybe you just need to close her in a bathroom at night .. It doesn't sound like she is going to change, so I guess you Have to make the change for her;-( At least it is a lot easier to clean up after her  |

She's locked in a bathroom with only a toilet and the tub. She has a litter box, food, water and a towel to sleep on. Wanna bet she craps on the towel???  |

OMG Dan....That made laugh so hard!! I was starting to think that the silence after your post was deafening  I just didn't know what to say  Our pets are like our children....would we give them away or put them down because they mess up??? I think this is a good fix/consequence for Jenny. Not that she will learn or change because if it. But at least she isn't doing damage and you won't be so upset with her. Shall Ron and I send you a crying towel for you AND Jenny |

Tonight while I was at work, she hit the bed again while Sugar was in the living room, 15 feet away. She (Sugar) texted me and said she was so mad she was shaking. We put out feelers for a new home for her. I have a friend that works in a rural area 30 miles from town, Sandy Valley, and he knows many of the locals. He is going to see what he can come up with.
Jenny can't live her life out in the bathtub, and she can't be left alone in the house. For that mater, she can't even be let out of eyesight, as she'll wander into another room and poop on something. We love her, but this is the end. We paid $100 to have both of them boarded while we had my Step Mother over for Thanksgiving. Scooter went too, so she wasn't left alone. It's not fair to him, nor us. She can be loving, and yes she is our little girl, but we can't keep washing (and buying) new blankets, sheets, comforters and mattresses...
Enough is enough. We've exhausted every other option. She's moving out...

I think it is the right decission for all. I know you love her but she is not happy, and I know both you and Sugar are also not happy. It sounds like the best thing for all concerned.. Who know, she just might need to be the only cat, and there is a prefect home for her out there.. just not yours.

All I can think of to say is "Good" the new owners will need it for them elves!  Maybe you and Sugar should also try it ;D I just hope they are not good friends, because they might not be after getting her Sorry, I'm punchy today.. we are in for yet another flood here so have been trying to move things around so the cattery doesn't float away this time, and if it does, the boys won't be in it!! Kim is digging trenches to divert it from the house and cattery...Lake Selmac is overflowing now and we still have 3 more bigger storms coming in behind this one..we are making arrangement to move some into the craft room in the house and the boys into the girls cattery and dogs from one compound to another.. we have 2 litters of pups as well to keep safe! It all just has my head spinning.. you already know how dizzy I am, all this stress doesn't improve my personality You know I hope you can find Jenny a new home that she will be a happy girl !! |

Arlene....I feel for you! You have to live through a flood sometimes to understand the power of water. Hope it all turns out ok. You're gonna have to put a second story on your home!
