I think I remember you saying something about revamping the colors on the forum  Is the removal of the red what you call revamping  Hay if you HAVE to use blue then fine, I promise not to jump all over you if you do this time .. no hurry I know you are busy with your life.. but just saying...  |

Yeah, I gotta set down and do that. I don't know if anyone noticed, but the whole forum crashed the other day, I couldn't even get in. Wasn't anything I did on my end, it was ProBards doing something on theirs. Scared me for a minute, I felt pretty confident that it would come back up, but was worried about losing content. The red being gone wasn't me either, it just evaporated on it's own. Gotta love technology.
Changing colors, fonts formats etc. is a kinda involved. And if I screw it up, I can't just hit the back button and start over. I can't see what the change looks like it, until After I change it, so it's all trial and error. I don't just click on a color, I have to look at this chart with all of the colors, pick the colors number, and then apply it. The description of each field is kinda vague too, banner header, field color, border color, sub board field banner background font, blah, blah, blah, etc., etc., etc...
So, if anyone logs on and sees some ridiculous colors, stand by, it'll probably change. I'll get on it, I'm getting tired of the green myself...

NO.. you don't gotta do it  I was just yanking your chain Dan.. I did notice that I couldn't get on one day and thought you must have blocked me ;D.. It's not a big deal and I think we can all live with the colors, it's just that you mentioned it and I wanted to see if you were still around or if you had completely turned the whole forum over to Scooter ;D We all know how good he is on this thing! |

I modified the titles of threads too. After you have clicked on and read a thread, the title changes colors...

I just realized you have blue, yellow, red, purple & green.. I'm sure if you look there could be even more colors to put on it !! It kind of looks like a drunken flag ;D ;D ;D ;D Gotta love Dan.. he has such a wonderful soul and a beautiful heart.. but he has to be color blind ! |

Here's my problem, it's not very user friendly to change the colors. It's impossible to see what you get, until after you do it. And the colors are limited, keeping blue out of the format, and getting something nice looking is a job. I'll set down with a beer this weekend, and see what I can do to get something that is pleasant looking, and useable and not blue...  |

NO!! Don't change it I LOVE IT!! It is the best color combo yet!! So my vote is to keep it this way Oh and love the picture of Scooter too, is it going to be your new Avatar? So sit tonight with your beer, but leave the colors alone  |

I like the colors. They're vibrant and you can play, "name that flag" with them, there are so many. And the picture of scooter is great.

Thanks guys, I'm kinda digging the orange, or peach, or whatever it is too. Scooter isn't supposed to be as big as he is, I'll fix that...
I'll change the pic regularly, we need to rotate picture of everyones kids. I'm thinking maybe a contest of some sort. I can set up a thread where everyone posts a pic of their DLX, and then all members can vote on their favorite. The picture that gets the most votes gets to be "Cat of the Month", and featured at the top where Scoots is now.

I have to admit, this new lay out has me confused as to what to do Love the idea of the ''Cat of the Month" Dan. We do something like that on the dog forum as well.. at the end of the year all 12 months of "Dog' of the month we make up that years Indian Dog calender.. so it's very cool for sure.. I hope everyone will do it :-) As for me.. well after all this time and so many cat's and kittens.... I have thousands of pictures. so I will pass for now so that others can send theirs in :-) OH... BTW.. I know it is still very early BUT I'm almost positive I felt little nipples getting bigger on all 3 of the girls.. and they are eating up a storm.. so now I will be watching for those baby bumps to show !!  |

Oh by all means you should send in a picture, Arlene. That's kind of the point, win or lose, we all get to see the pictures of everyone else's DLX.

Hey Arlene...Maybe a little off topic but I think I once saw a picture of Kitty Khan. Would really like to see one again if possible. Was he Simba and Big Stuff's Father?

Wholly Moly!! Well it is different, I'll give you that! Just what I needed to wake me up! Just got home from a back procedure yesterday,, Didn't sleep well last night but this sure woke me up!!
