Well, all the babies are in the new homes. Deb and hubby took a lot of pictures of the cat's while they were her.. sure wish they would post some of them as well as let us know how Shadow is doing with Stealer.. Kyle picked up his baby boy "Osiris" and as soon as he gets his Internet hooked back up he said he would post.. then there is Jordan in N.J. who promised to post.. so far I guess they are all to busy playing with their new toys to bother with letting us all know how the babies are doing in their new homes :-)

Yeah, yeah, I've been slacking! Things are going as well as we can expect. Stealer just about had a fit when he first smelled Shadow. As of this morning, while he still growls and howls if he sees her he at least calms down very quickly. I'm hoping that by this weekend he won't think she's evil and at least can look at her without getting so upset. Here's a quick little video I took the other night of her playing with a turkey feather. She's quite the little spitfire! One thing I noticed is that she has no trouble turning on her purr motor. She has purred more since I've had her than Stealer has in the last year. It is very interesting to see the difference in personality between the two. She is very cuddly and Stealer is very much an independent cat. I'm sure there will be more pictures soon (and I'll get Dave to post his pics of the cats when he can)...

Great video, Deb! She's fantastic!!!
Ditto on the growing. I took Scoots to the vet the other day in the same carrier we brought him home in.
We're gonna need a bigger boat...

Boy, you sure don't have to tell me about how fast they grow! It feels like yesterday that they were born, now they are gone and I have the empty nest syndrome once more.. But hopefully not for too much longer. 'Just seeing Shadows little face brings back a lot, also got a picture of Kyle holding his baby boy Osiris.. those kids just grab at your heart :-)
Sorry to hear about the bad reaction Scooter had to the shot, thanks for letting us know Dan, it could help someone else that might be thinking of having it done..

Looks like we've turned the corner in the kitty relations. Last night was play night with only a little growling and hissing - this time from Shadow.
This morning it was Shadow chasing Stealer around the room. It's darn funny to watch a 1.5# cat chase a 14# cat around the room!

Just an update on Stealer and Shadow. As of last Saturday Stealer is happy to have Shadow in the house. It was race up and down the hall chasing each other, followed by light wrestling. Shadow is fearless in exploring and has no cares about either dog. I think they are gonna do just fine together.
This morning Shadow was trying to get Stealer to play and he wanted none of her biting him. Guess it isn't so much fun when YOU'RE the adult, huh Stealer? :-)
