I have two kitties from Arlene, they are beautiful spotted long hair girls. I was wondering if any others in this forum have noticed a lot of hairballs from their long hair kitties and any possible solutions you have?

Hi, I got a wonderful gift from one of my kittie owners, it's called a "Furminator" It is the best thing in the world to brush them with, it will remove all dead hair before it fall's :-)

Yes, you can get them at most pet stores.. they are really great,but.. if you ask Jackie she will tell you I also use it on the couch more then the cat's.. after all I do have 10 of them in the house and I can't keep up with them all. Poor Jackie left my house the first time they came with a very furry butt!

Hahahaha...yes I did Arlene!!! Your furniture can take that 'furminator' so I would suggest to others to try a spot underneath for a test first. It could take your pattern off with any cat hairs too!!! All of our cats are short haired. Emma is a Copper Silver Ebony Leopard....medium hair but lots of it. She is the one that I will brush with a regular brush to get things going then attack her with the 'furminator'. She LOVES it and will purr and roll over for a full on 'furmination'. Our other 2 are a Silver Blue"Blue" and a Silver Charcoal"Gizmo" Leopard...both don't mind a brush but do not like a furmination. They are slimmer and taller then Emma. I have purchased over 4 Furminators for friends and family...THANKS Arlene You should do a commercial for that product!!

I wish I had stock in it! I have to admitt it is the thing on the market for cat hair. I think it is safe on all kinds of fabrick as well, not just my couch, I use it on the dinning room chairs ( a favorite place to sleep) and the computer chair.. another fav. :-)
