So, Saturday morning and Sugar and I are sleeping in. Jenny is curled up between us, and Scooter is laying next to Sugar. He doesn't like walking, or laying on the down comforter, so he's on the mattress where Sugar pulled the comforter away.

One big happy family, right?

We're both half awake and watch Scooter slowly creep over the top of Sugar. He reaches over and bites Jenny, who is sound asleep, on one ear and starts pulling. Hard enough to mover her head. She give him a low growl, so he pulls harder. She growls again, gets mad and runs off the bed.

Now remember, he doesn't like the comforter, and doesn't want her spot. He stands there for 30 seconds or so to insure she is gone, and goes back to his spot where it's just mattress, lays down and goes back to sleep...

No wonder Jenny is angry most of the time...

Poor Jenny I guess he is a little stinker, but maybe he just wanted to play ?? Maybe not, but if she would have grabbed him back the way a Desert Lynx would have, they would have been wrestling all over the bed, so count your blessing's :-)

Oh wow Scooter!!! What is up with that!! Poor Jenny is right!
The other night Gizmo got his paws on a toy mouse. So he starts strutting around with his ahem..kill...in his mouth, ears back and growling . Neither Emma or Blue paid much mind to him. So Gizmo decided to go up to Emma....give her a mean growl and she ran off. He then turned his attention to Blue...walked up to him and growled. Blue still didn't care so Gizmo gave Blue a good hard whack up the side of his head! Blue didn't even move even after that! He pretty much looked at Gizmo with a "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaatt?" look on his face.....too funny

I had to laugh at Arlene's comment because that is exactly what happens at my house. I keep thinking that Stealer is going to hurt Shadow because she gets REALLY irate and yells at him...yet when I break them up she goes right back to jumping on his head.

Between Deb & Jackie.. you both have me ROTF!! I can see each one doing what you describe.. having so many myself, I see each one of those things each day around here :-)

Yesterday I came home from the store and had picked up a "Kitty Stocking" for Xmas for my crew.. it has a ton of toys in it and I was going to give then each a new toy for Xmas.. Well, Tag found the stocking in a bag, he took it out and was rolling around on the floor with it. He had his front paws wrapped around it, teeth dug in and was trying to shred it open with those little back feet.. of coarse the rest were all standing around him waiting as toys came flying out of the stocking !! So much for the other guys, guess I have to go back for yet another Xmas kitty stocking! :-)
