HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Just wanted to wish everyone a very happy new year, and hope it is the best year ever for us all :-) Today both Kiki and Cappi came is season together.. I was going to breed Cappi to Tarzan this time but since both girls are in season at the same time, I put Simba in with Kiki and then just for kicks ( a girl has to have some fun ) I also tossed Cappi in with them.. you should have seen Simba's eye's .. they got so big and he looked at me with "WOW mom 2 for me?" :-) He looked so confused so I took Cappi out and will play musical breeding with the one area.. today and tonight will be for Simba and Kiki then tomorrow and tomorrow night for Tarzan and Cappi.. Just not sure if there is any one out there that can deal with a Tarzan baby.. might have to toss her back in with Simba and Kiki ..Tarzan is only fertile during the Dec, Jan and half of Feb.. other then that he is a true Canadian Lynx and is sterile the rest of the year.. I use his off spring as breeding stock because they need a little more domestic in them..I'm just rambling so I'll go for now.. Once again HAPPY HEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!

Aye, Happy New Year to all our members!
I need a flow chart to follow that breeding schedule, but am sure it will result in beautiful kittens!

LOL!! I need one myself a lot of the times Dan!! I swear between who is who's off spring or sister or brother.. who carries what lethal gene and is it dominant or recessive in that cat.. I sometimes Just feel like opening up all the cages and tell them to just go figure it all out :-) !! Then there is Tarzan, he isn't related to any one ( in the breeding pool) so he can be bred to any of the girls,, except he isn't always fertile, and his off spring are a bit much to handle as they are sweet, affectionate but scared to death of all people other then their own.. usually some of them can be socialized enough but they are such a high % wild that it's not for the faint hearted to deal with :-) I'm getting to old to deal with some of his, while he can also have a few that are just terrific to be around, afraid of nothing or no one, total brave hearts :-) Tarzan also almost always throws a Black Leopard.. they are so amazing to see in sun light but in ordinary light they just look like black kittens/cat's... The last Black Leopard I had ( I've only had 2) was names "Shadow" and he is owned by a man who has several of our dogs and preforms with the dogs.. anyway Shadow is a Tarzan boy, he is bigger then big stuff, tough as nails, afraid of nothing and no one and when he lays in the sun, to see him as black as night with beautiful blacker then black spots, he is amazing.. he weighs in around 27 lbs of pure muscle..

Happy New Year to everyone and may 2012 be the best yet!!! Oh man....all this kittie talk! We are getting another once we move into our new house and our 3 are settled. Can you wait that long Arlene??? That would be some time in the spring...guess I'd better put in my deposit. Talk is cheap Now that you've talked about Tarzan babies...Ron wants a short haired black boy What a dreamer....Emma sheds the most out of the 3 so a long hair?? Nope. I would just like one of every kind. Would love a "Scooter" next! Gizmo (aka..Baby Huey) has gotten so big that he hogs ALL of Ron's legs when Ron's reclined on the love seat watching TV. The best part about that is that Blue has no where else to go but Mama's lap Emma is still her own girl and if you want her, you have to go and get her. Their is no 3rd man out with our kids which is so nice. I think 4 should round it up nicely Here is a link to the building of our new place. We'll have lots of room for the kitties to play! www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150844611110377.740866.848795376&type=1&l=11904a856cAll the best everyone!!!

Once again if I could only program these guys to make what I want!! The 2 Black Leopard that Tarzan produced one was a long hair (like him) and the other "Shadow" saw a smooth coat.. so no way to know what I will get from him :-) Today Tarzan is in with Cappi.. ( salt & Pepper) she is so white and with him being dark, they sure do look good together :-) Just finished breeding Simba back to Kiki, I think. I'll know in the morning if she is still in the mood for another date with Simba, but for now after 2 days and 2 nights they were just sleeping together most of the day.. Simba did give her a bath and she gave him one but that was all they were interested in so I took Simba out.. I should have 2 litters this spring..born in March and ready to go in May.. just trying to fill the waiting list :-) I need more then one kitten a litter :-) I do have to say that Tarzan's kittens usually do have the long hair but it is very different then other long hair cat's.. his is more like hair and he doesn't matt the way other long hair cats do.. it is very soft and silky, more of a feathering around the face, belly and pants, and of coarse they usually have the long ear tuff's as well.. I guess we'll see what comes out this time.. I know I'm in the mood for a real big tough guy who likes to wrestle like Shadow does.. he will literally leap across the room at you to catch him and play.. he is so much fun..he will almost knock me off my feet when he sees me.. but then his daughters are so sweet.. what can I say :-)
