As long as they decide that your house is not the place to be, shooting next to her is good enough for me, too.
Did she take her kids and head off into the forest?

After I shot next to her she took off like a bullet herself, and yes the little ones were in tow! I have no idea if she went into the forest or where, just hope she doesn't come back.

We had a interesting night.. Just before bed, I got a weird feeling that i needed to check the cattery. So grabbed the flash light and found it was almost dead.. looked around and the other 2 were dead.. so I took the weak beamed one and went out the back door. As I took the last step down, something very big a black let out a very deep big bark.. so I knew it was a big dog. So I ran back in the house and called Kim . He went out with his gun and then as he approached the back of his truck he heard a very big deep growl, so with out a light, he decided to also just come back in.. the carport light wasn't enough to show what was behind the truck but after the attack on Cy, we both decided to just let it be.. Ghost went out to do her thing before bed time but she was very cautious and only did a half pee and ran back into the house.. smart dog

That deep growl sure sounds scary. I'm sure the kitties figured out where to go to be safe. And it doesn't sound like a raccoon. Here in LA, we have a big problem with raccoons. They make a lot of noise and absolutely love koi ponds. A few of my friends have fish outside and they've had to make sure they dig their ponds deep enough that the raccoons can't get to them. They are clever animals, though, and I must hand it to them living here in the concrete jungle with the millions of humans.

OK, no one move.. hold your breath, and cross everything you have.. I ''think'' MeMe just might be pregnant... shhhhh.. don't breath I just brought her in today.. she has been a super ( you know what) with the other girls.. just awful to them.. that usually means she is keeping them from coming in season because she is preggers and doesn't want them calling for males.. so she is in our bathroom and as soon as I can, she will go in for a ex-ray..That won't be for another week at least, but for right now she needs to be out of the girls cattery so the others can come into season

I don't know....Racoon Stew? May I suggest a paintball gun. You may be able to zero in on the one that is the most of a pest. Then....start peeling those potatoes and carrots...hehehe
