OK, today I took Simba out from the breeding area with Kiki.. so 3 nights and 2 days of love should do it. Now begins the waiting game again..At least with Kiki and Cappi we get a few kittens in a litter with her royal highness (MeMe) one or two has been it.. Now just waiting for Cappi to come in season .. MeMe?? who knows what or when

Well yes.....I missed a lot of threads!!! Are you feeling better now Arlene? I've had a cold since Sept 27th. Today is the first day I'm not blowing my nose n my voice is almost normal. Had laryngitis for 2wks. And ya,I don't need any wisecracks either

Ron and I took a kind of holiday last weekend to pick up some Antique furniture in Centralia, WA.
We really needed to get away....it's been go go go for us for over a year now.
Our house is big but super cozy at the same time. I love it and could just stay home for days at a time.

We had our first formal, kinda, family dinner in our dinning room last night! All 3 kitties joined us in the room....where you are...they are too. Yes, even miss Shy Emma!!! My daughter in law also has 2 'street' cats. So there was some cat talk but had to keep it down for the family that don't have cats. Just don't get how they wouldn't want to talk about our cats for hours....hahahahahaa
Glad you had a good holiday Dan. I am gonna make Ron take me to see Shooter (of course you and Sugar too) if we ever go to LV together again.

I know Deb!!! Its always all about that dang ferry we have to catch back to the island. Ron and I did talk about it but as it was, we only took 2hrs to stop and visit his Aunt in Uncle and they drove an hour to come and meet us!
Our getaways are never long since there is no one in the office when we are gone.
Hopefully next time tho Deb.....Ron wants a new antique coffee table.

Well MeMe sounds like she is in quite "the mood", unfortunately not the kind of mood that is conducive to babies!

Fingers crossed there was a rumble in the jungle with the other two though I keep hoping!

Me too Ladybuggs.. It could be wishful thinking BUT, it looks like Kiki is putting on some weight SO Cross fingers, toes, eye's and anything else you can.. I'm hoping both Cappi & MeMe will now come in season as well.. never can have too many kittens to play with

OK, What do you want first.. good news or bad news?? Here it is .. Kiki appears to be back in season.. so she has been in with Simba for a few days but not sure what they are doing other then just snuggling.. BUT some females will come in season and not breed because they are pregnant.. that is what I want this to be, but time will tell,..that was the bad news, now for the good news.. Cappi is almost ready for breeding so she is in with Simba as of today and Miss MeMe is flirting with Simba.. That won't work since he is her father BUT once she is full blown she will be in with Monster again or I may try Tarzan with her.. so with 3 girls breeding we have to get at least one litter.. right Hay if all 3 get preg, it won't break my heart but I sure will be hopping busy rolling in fuzz balls

Good lord, I don't know how you keep track of who's in season, who's breeding with who, who may or may not be pregnant, who cant breed with who, how many kittens which one will have, who wants what etc., etc., etc...

Sounds easy, but has my head spinning. You're a better man (woman) than I am Gunga Din. Hope you get a bunch of kittens in a few months. We're all keeping out fingers crossed, keep us updated, and Good Luck!

Now you know why I'm so ditsy!! I swear these crazy cat's will do me in one day! So as of today.. Kiki and Cappi are in with poor Simba and MeMe is in with Monster.. so I will have anything from none to 3 litters.. How many litters, how many kittens.. who knows.. All I can do is keep trying. If it's any consolation Kiki is not breeding, just loving up on Simba, and she is gaining weight.. she might just "Think" she is in season.. let's keep out fingers crossed that she is already with kittens
We did have our neighbor come by the other day and ask if we were having any breeding problems.. he has sheep, goats and cows.. none of them are breeding So I don't feel like the Lone Ranger.. even Kim is having problems with the dogs breeding.. sure hope what ever it is goes away.. Animals feel things we don't, so who know

Today as I went in to the girls cattery I could hear a lot of noise ( Like a Rhino running around inside) so I thought "OH GOODY they are breeding".. well. I saw both Cappi & Kiki sitting on the shelf, and I swear they were doing this .. because the Rhino was Simba playing with one of the toy's! He was tossing it in the air and jumping up to catch it and on and on he went!! Such a goof.. So I let Kiki out since she really isn't in season and left him with Cappi only... As for MeMe and Monster.. not much action but will leave them for a few days to see.. if it doesn't look promising then I might toss Tarzan in with her..and see if she likes him better.. Oh don't worry I will know who the daddy is when and if she has a litter

OK, the boy's are both back where they belong in their own areas I don't know what if anything happened but the girls are no longer in season ( right now) so I guess it's back to the waiting game.. I know you are all tired of waiting, so am I But on the bright side.. We could have babies the beginning of Jan and a very Happy New Year ! So lets all just keep thinking positive and keeping fingers crossed ..

Fingers, eye's, and toes still crossed and as of yet.. no one is back in season Now let's just hope it stays that way.. I will be happy if one of the girls is preg but if they all are then you might have a shot at another one Jackie ;D BUT>>> There are a few ahead of you and for a few, this will be her first one.. so I want them to be able to enjoy their first DLX kitten experience.. we all know they will be back for more, but have to get the first ones to them !

In case this storm heading our way is as bad as they say it will be, we could be with out power for a while so just in case.. I want to wish everyone a very Happy TURKEY day!!
