Funny, Scooter has no interest in water. He'll tolerate his annual bath, but has no interest in the pool, water bowls, toilet or anything else. He's neither afraid, nor interested in it...

Boy, these cats sure have a lot of character. Tag jumps in the water, Scooter has no interest, and Jackie's babies love to slide. And then there's the one leg hanging out thing. Laughing Out Loud!!!

Dan, Do you think Jenny has something to do with Scooter not playing in water? Maybe you need to turn on the pool water fall and then see what he does?? It just sounds so weird to me .. I think /well I know mine all have to be in the water bowel. Now when it comes to Big Stuff, he can NOT drink unless he has at least his front feet in the water bowel, he prefers all 4 but he is kind of big.. maybe I need a big turkey roasting pan for him to drink out of.. after all he is a big turkey ;D

Beats me, Arlene. Like I said, he's not afraid of water, he just doesn't have any interest in it either. Sometimes, if we are lazy on putting fresh water in their bowls he will take some food and drop it in the water bowl. Then, he'll get one of us and show us the bowl. It's like he's saying, "See. It's dirty. Fresh water please"...

Both Shadow and Stealer love water. Not a day goes by that they don't insist on having water in the tub to drink and play in and when I give Shadow a toy we will usually come home to find it in the water bowl.
I've been lax on getting pictures of the "kids" ....I'll have to do that so you can all see how big Shadow has gotten! The other day she was laying on the kitchen table and Dave thought she was Stealer...nope, my little girl has filled out is not "little" anymore!

Yes Deb, You have been a very bad girl.. I know we would all like to see the kids and how they have grown.. even if not finished growing, it's still nice -) Remember how much you looked forward to the weekly pictures I sent to you as they grew from looking like little rats to cue little cuddly muffins : Well, it's your turn.. and that goes for the rest of you too ;D

I know :-( I've been bad and will see what I can do to get more pictures of the little monsters!
I can tell you that it is fall here in Seattle - the mice have been coming in to play. It never lasts long though - Stealer makes sure of that (I'm just glad he leaves them as presents and doesn't eat them!)

While I am basically a MIA member here lately, thought I'd just give an update on what has been going on - I have moved - again - shut up Arlene! <g>!!! Moved back to Western WA, back to the wet side but altho there's been a lot of rain here lately, I love being back here - mtns, green, beautiful spring flowers and trees. Beats the heck out of the dry brown flats of Eastern WA.....
Re: cats traveling - my cats are very well traveled.....they have ridden in the car many times, usually riding free in the minivan or whatever and they ride well - in fact they love it once they realize it's a real trip. They've traveled with me to AR and back, and many places in WA. The girls are settling in and adjusting to life over here.....I'll try to be more active in the forum too - especially now that I have a computer again!

Good to see you back, and I'm glad the trip went well. Congrats on you new digs!
Neither of our cats travel well. They howl the whole time, and generally just don't like it. Probably has a lot to do with going to the Vet. That's the only road trips they ever get...

I'm not sure if I've commented on your tag or not but I love it - Polydactyl is not a dinosaur!!!

Back to cat winding up for the run....I love it when Emma follows me down the stairs and at the landing there are 2 steps. She'll crouch down in front of me, wind up her little flag tail and LEAP so far before he hits the ground. So impressive!

I'm not sure if I've commented on your tag or not but I love it - Polydactyl is not a dinosaur!!! Haha, thanks. I was telling someone about Scooter once and mentioned he was a polydactyl. They looked me in the eye, and with a straight face said, "So, he's like from Jurassic Park?"
