Yesterday Kenny ( Sissorhands) who has the big Snow Leopard Kioki ( Cappi & Bear) and the Clouded Leopard Bowser (Cappi & Simba) is leaving Reno NV and moving to Portland OR. around the first of the year. We will be meeting for lunch as he passes thru Grants Pass on his way with a U-Haul and the 'kids" so I will be able to see them in person again . I'm so excited to see the kitties .. Kenny?? OK so I will like seeing him too

I will do just that ;D Of coarse I will hope to get some shots of the 'kids' but not sure if it will be safe for him to take them out of their crates in a restaurant parking lot! They could be a little freaked out buy the whole move and truck ride.. so have to see when the time comes.. most important is their safety Funny how some people join and never post.. I got a bunch of pictures from Jacquelyn of her two and her moms one. Jacq's sister "Shelbylovespenny" is just as bad! I also received a bunch of pictures of Kyles guy "Osiris"..Osiris is a liter mate to Deb's Shadow.. Kyle said he has been going thru some very hard and dark times, he apologizes for not getting to the forum but said his guy has pulled him thru his darkest of times and is as loved as any of his 2 leg kids:-) I guess they have a problem with positing pictures as well..

No, they don't like to travel, do they? Even the short trip to the vet, 10 minutes, get both of our guys howling. You'd think they were in boiling water back there...
Some folks like to read, and not post I suppose. I too wish more folks would join in, makes it more interesting for everyone. But, reading is okay too. Hope all goes well with Kyle, as well as Kenny's move...

;D Oh yes! Boiled alive in a crate in the car!! A few weeks ago I took Simba in for his check up.. of coarse when they see the crate their little brains go straight to "GIRLS"" That is what I use to bring them to the girls and the breeding area.. so they just jump in like a champ.. but once they see me walk past the girls cattery the howl begins! Man if you want to hear blood curdling ...you should hear Tarzan when he has to go to the vet.. he scares everyone in the vet office and along with the fact I have to pull him ( and Simba) in a big crate on wheels.. ..most people stay away I guess we are the only ones who talk on the forum any more.. maybe we don't need need no stinkin members ;D I hope everyone knows I'm kidding.. I miss some of them and their stories as well as new pix of the kids.. oh well.. once they get their babies they forget about me

I love to read the forum even though I don't post a lot myself. I don't have any kitties yet to post pictures of, but I really enjoy hearing about the funny, wacky, unique things these lynx babies do, like how they stick their one leg out. And I like the stories and comments by their owners too:-))
It's been crazy hot here in LA this past week. I'm in the process of moving to a new office for work, and I've spent way too much time driving around in the heat trying to get organized. Yesterday, I had to go to the San Fernando Valley and it was 108. Yikes. I would have put out a few blood curdling howls myself if I weren't so darn dehydrated.

I hear ya, Ali. It was the summer that would never end here too. We were still in the 100's into early October, but it's finally cooled off a bit.
Scooter is tearing around the house as I type this. We have a 5 X 8 rug in our entry over a tile floor. He'll stand in the middle of the rug, and do a "burn out" causing the rug to shift, and then he flies down the hallway. I straighten the rug. Repeat...
Jenny tries to mimic him sometimes, and does the same thing on the rug. But, she's half his weight, so it doesn't move the rug much. Don't think she realizes that though...

Maybe 'cause she's already from the moon, she thinks she's just floating over the rug.

Hi Ali, I'm working on getting kittens, but Hybrids are so difficult, especially the crazy ones I have But I promise they are worth the wait.. Just know you are not alone.. I have to get my girls in gear so everyone can have a baby to love and play with.. But like Dan and I'm sure most the other owners.. better glue down any loose hall rugs or any rug that's not a wall to wall, they do a little thing with the back end that is like winding up and then they push off and the rug goes flying and is a constant ball to be straightened.. but if you are like me, I just do it now as a part of my daily thing ;D Oh and be ready for some wet feet on your lap as well It seems dancing in water is just part of it as well..Too bad we can't get them to wipe their feet on the rug BEFORE they jump in out lap

Hi Arlene
I know I'm really eager to get one of your kittens, but no worries. I figure it will happen when the timing is right. In the meantime, I'll keep reading up the news on the forum from everyone else. I love hearing about how they get their feet wet. Do they like taking baths too? I know all my other cats over the years have hated the water and meowed the whole time I would be washing them. I can't wait to see some "dancing in water!"

Yup, when he starts this, it's like a dragster doing a burn out. We know what's coming next...

Well Ali, The water is on their terms.. I have plastic kiddy pool's outside for them to play in during the summer.. inside it's the water bowel or the toilet to splash in.. then there is my one guy Tag who likes to sit in the shower with me as well as jump in the tub if I take a tub bath.. But''GIVE" them a bath.. HUMMMM NO!! It has to be on their terms and what they want to do at that time.. usually once they are in they will allow it, but not pleased about it

Hahaha....you say WATER!!! Our 3 babes love water, especially if its in a bowl/ toilet bowl, sink!! We have a round electric fountain for them. It has no standing water anywhere on the device. Ron cleans it every weekend and Bob's your Uncle. Before that....we had wet floors and empty water bowls. They clean themselves and eachother so much....couldn't even see a need to bath them unless I was really really bored.
