Hi There, my name is Kristen and I am getting on a waitlist for one of Arlene's kittens. Does anyone have children (other than their furbabies) and can comment on their cat's (or cats') relationship with children.
Thanks in advance, Kristen

Hi Kristen and welcome to the forum!! Arlene's babies are the best! We do not have kids but our Scooter is good around everyone. He is easy going and wants to be where the people are, so you should not have any issues at all with him/her being around kids. These cats have the best personality in the world.
Hope this helps!

Howdy Kristen!
We have two members with the same name now, only the other is spelled with a C, Cristen. How cool is that?!?
As Sugar said, Scoots is just so chill, I know he would be fine with kids. Nothing ruffles him, he is everyone's friend. If you're talking about your own children, I'm sure your new DLX kitten will be fine. These cats are Smart! They learn fast, acclimate fast, and grow fast.
Nothing better than kids and pets growing up together...

Welcome Kristen...our cats a bit shy of children only because they have not been exposed to them. Anyone else they are great with. We've made it a rule never to play with them with our hands. Feathers on a stick is about as close as we get. This way, they don't recognize a hand as a toy and they have never bit anyone when they are getting a pet. They have been a wonderful source of entertainment for Ron and I and a hot topic when we have guests. Hope you pick up 2!
