Now that would be funny for sure Jackie if Dan pulled Ron over for speeding !! ;D  Not the best way to meet! I'm just sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for these girls to do something important.. like Oh say HAVE A FEW KITTENS!!   So far I just get the same look from them |

I would have really liked to meet Ron, but I never heard from him???
We are doing another motorcycle trip up the Left Coast in August. We are going into Canada via Victoria Island again, and probably spending a couple of days on the island. It looks like a wonderful place, and we want to see more of it. We only had 24 hours last trip, but this time we really want to check it out, and eat more of those wild raspberries we found growing all over the place. From there, we are heading further north, final destination is setting foot in Alaska, before we turn around home and come home via Idaho & Utah.
We plan on stopping in Selma, of course, and also plan on finding Ron & Jackie's new digs on the island...

OK, so this is very exciting!! I can't wait to see you two again.. we will have to make some kind of plans so when it gets closer let me know.. We will be having our dog gathering in August as well.. maybe you will be here during that.. ?? We have a few other "Cops" and a retired Police Chief as well as the Sheriff of Sacramento.. so you will be right at home Dan  The Sheriff of Sacramento is affectionately called "Fat Sheriff" Because when I first talked to him on the phone, he told me his email address was "FatSheriff'' .. I asked if he didn't mind being called Fat..then he spelled it to me SACSherrif" and I heard FAT.. each time he would say a letter it sounded like something different.. the "S" sounded like "F" the "a" I got ,but them when he got to the "C" it sounded like "T".. so I asked him how big was he.. we then had a good laugh but ever since ( he has 2 dogs now) he is always referred to as "Fat Sheriff" and he isn't fat!! He has a great sense of humor because when he calls now he always says "it the FAT sheriff" calling ;D |
