I got this from Arlene, apparently she is still having trouble posting. Sorry to hear she had a rough go of it, but glad MeMe and her two little ones are doing well. AdminI tried to post on the forum today, but kept getting kicked off. I just wanted to let the gang know MeMe had to have a emergency C-section today. Her uterus was twisted and she couldn't deliver, she almost bled out... So while she was on the operating table I told my vet to spay her, so he did. She is resting comfortably ( thanks to drugs :-) ) I've attached a picture of her with her 2 little ones and her shaved tummy! I have no idea what the sex of the kittens are yet, at the vet we all thought there both males, but can't say for sure right now. Anyway, just wanted to let the gang know what was going on. Just wanted to bring any one interested up to date on MeMe and the 2 little ones.. Today is the first day the babies have nursed off of MeMe!! YEAH!! I have had to bottle feed them while MeMe gained her strength back enough to produce milk !! I have had the every 2 hour bottle duty since birth on Tuesday and can't wait for a full night sleep.. the kids were checked by the vet today and they are doing great.. there is one male and one female.. all are well and doing great! It's funny how although they are too young to hear or see they can sure smell me when I come in the room.. I can hear them squeaking for me :-) I hope every one has a wonderful and safe Holiday weekend.. Me? I think I'll sleep ;D I'll send photo's to Dan soon to post for me of the new kids on the block .  |

Good to hear Arlene!!! I can't imagine having babies again yet you do it often! Will MeMe move to into the house?

Hi Jackie.. so good to hear from you!! I miss you! Yup I sure am 70 but most of the time I feel 90!  The kids keep us young  As for MeMe,, well it's up to her, if she can be good, then she can stay in the house with her old childhood pals.. but if she still wants to spray, well then it's back in the cattery she goes with her mom  it will be up to her.. if she is good or naughty  I also have "Trouble" and "Pepper" in the house.. they are the little ones from Kiki and Cappis last litters. Pepper is the one female in Cappi's litter and the full sister to MeMe..she just might be a replacement for her but MeMe will be hard to replace  But she will have a long happy life. |

Hi Arlene, I hope you're getting some rest finally. I'm sorry to hear about MeMe's troubles, but I'm glad she was able to give birth to two beautiful babies. I wish you and everyone else a great holiday weekend.

HUUMM....REST  Yeah, I'm getting some .. I think it's more like passing out then just rest ;D Right now I have Mr. Trouble in my lap trying to email with me and then Pepper is dancing around, running up and down my leg! Thank goodness for jeans or I would look like I was thrown in the berry bushes  MeMe and the 2 kids are doing good, they still squeak for me when I go in the room but they are doing just fine on mom.. I guess they will be real love bugs since they were raised on a bottle, they just love to be held :-) Of coarse I happily do so  I hope everyone had a good safe Holiday.. we had cold and rain.. not so great. I just got some cute pictures of Elly from Lori, hope she post some for everyone soon..Ken named his boy Lawrence.. AKA "Larry" |

Well, today I joined the new world of phones!! We found a U.S.Cellular store that services our area!!YEAH!! So now all I have to do is learn how to use it! I took a picture with it but can't find it or haven't figured out how to send it either!! Oh well baby steps Today as I was getting ready to go to town for phone shopping I sat down to put on my face.. as she always does, MeMe came out of the box to sit in my lap.. but today she brought me the baby girl and dropped her in my lap then jumped down and went back in the box, out she came with the baby boy and dropped him in my lap too! She then jumped down, went back in the box, rolled over on her back and went to sleep It was like she was saying it's your turn this week again ! I guess she liked the week I took care of them and after a week of her doing it she thought it was my turn again! ;D I'll try to do the picture thing again and give you all a look at these cute little fuzz balls. |

MeMe is hilarious. She wants to share all the love with you Arlene. And maybe she can get some rest! I can't wait to see the pics of the little fuzz balls.

I know Jackie.. MeMe is a real hoot to be around.. but that was just so funny to me too ;D It truly was as if she was saying "Your turn again" Also the way she went back in the box and laid on her back like she was at the beach cracked me up too.. I guess having the whole bed to yourself was a good feeling to her  |
