I'm not planing to go any time soon but just making plans since we don't get to choose when we go.. sure wish we did, cause I just won't go! I might still be kicking for a long time but just wanted to cover it in case 
I think there are a lot of people who will be back for another baby, so it would be nice if they were still around.. I just think they are so special and to loose them would be a bummer

Yes, I'm sure you will be breeding kittens for a long time into the future. It is good that Rachel has started breeding as well, the more blood lines the better, and it will get more people interested in the breed, and more new families with kittens. Win-win no mater how you look at it!

Rachel hasn't started breeding yet. It will still be around 2 years before her 2 little girls will be old enough, and she still needs a male, but if my guys are still around then she will have Simba and Monster as well.. I have the one Tarzan girl that will be in my breeding program as well, just a nice feeling to know I will have help with having babies for all my 'friends' when they ask for them As well as a home for any of mine..in case.. never know, do we.
Kiki is still cooking muffins, she is due on the 3rd, I hope she is on time because there will be no emergency Vets over the 4th! I'm kind of nervous, but for me... that's just normal. I'm like that with every litter

We don't know Jenny's real birthday, but best guess was early July. We made it July 4th so it was easy to remember, she'll be 11 this year. It would be cool if you had some July 4th kittens, maybe they'll be just like Jenny...

Hello all! I do believe I fell off the grid here, oops. Arlene, I am so sorry to hear of dear Ghost and your other previous babes too, losing 3 on the same day would be devastating. All going well here with the new little Nani (Nah knee), it is Hawaiian for "beautiful". She is a joy just like my little Elly Mae was at the same age. Different antics and the same too. They play together alot and it is adorable to watch! Lil miss Nani thinks hopping (literally) on my bed about 5:30 am is the cat's meow (so to speak!). Not so much in my opinion but I love her to bits and pieces anyway!
Well, I'll try and stay in contact better. Hope all of you are doing well.

So good to hear from you ladybuggs! I'm glad Nani is a joy.. she was so sweet and I was hoping she kept that sweetness.. some are little stinker. I know, I have one, but then she is a Tarzan daughter so I wouldn't expect anything else.
Yes, it was very sad to loose 3 at the same time but it was also a good thing for them, sure not for us.. but I would rather feel the pain then for them.. so thanks for the heart felt love.. it's appreciated.. just don't get lost again, we missed you !

How do I post pictures and video's? I need a tutorial! I visit Hawaii for about 3 weeks every year around the Christmas holiday break as my wonderful daughter lives on Oahu. I've been to Maui twice, Kauai once and Big Island once (and several trips to Oahu as previously mentioned). My plan is to move there at some point when I am able to retire from Boeing (been there 35 years now), find a part time job and live the life of Aloha! I want to be near my daughter, so I'll move the herd with me! Time isn't here yet though due to some family health issues and I won't bore you all with details. Nani is truly a joy, she is very sweet, loving and funny as you know what. Just like her big sistah Elly Mae! I feel very blessed to have them! |
