Well, lets see if I can get this posted.. my computer was compromised and I keep getting kicked off the Internet.. so as of this coming week.. we are getting high speed.. I'll post my new email address for everyone .. Now for what kind of week i had, not sure I wanted to post it as it is still all so raw.. first I'll let you know that MeMe's little girl is gone, I found her dead Monday morning.. I believe Me Me dropped her off the bathroom counter and she had internal injuries.. I can't say for sure what happened but I did see her on the bathroom floor and the boy was still up on the counter so I picked the girl up and she seamed OK and also grabbed the boy and put them back in the box, but like I said I found her dead in the box in the morning.. it was so horrible, she had just opened her eyes and was so sweet .. Then on Thursday morning when I went in the girls cattery to clean I saw Cleo laying in her box, she didn't come to me as she always does for her morning treat, she just lifted her head, gave me a silent meow and laid back down.. I knew she was getting close to the end.. she was 15 on 5/28 . I took her to my vet and she was released from her failed old body in my arms.. So she was laid to rest next to the little one.. such a painful week.. anyway It's been hard on me. but didn't want you all to think I left town

Thanks for all the well wishes, I really appreciate them. It's life as a breeder and it suck's, big time..and there doesn't seem to be a end to it.. Last week I took Mo ( Mojave), Tarzan and Simba to the vet.. Mo has a tumor that can't be removed because of her age, it would be more then she could take, so at 16 she has between 4 to 6 months of "Enjoyable" time left. I will keep a close look for when the enjoyment is gone.. Tarzan also had a tumor, my vet Joe was able to remove all of it and his out look is good for a full recovery Now for one of the loves of my life Simba.. he is down to 13 lbs, and has a tumor in his intestins.. it is not possible to remove it.. my vet found a treatment that has worked in animals before.. I have to 'juice' 12 pot leaves and give him 2 drops a day.. it's a new study and it has worked to reduce and kill cancer in animals.. so I will juice for him.. he likes it He also has between 4 to 6 months of quality life left unless this works.. so with all my heart I will try and do whatever it takes to keep him happy and with me.. I can't even think of a life with out him or his brother Big Stuff in it.. so I'm trying to keep positive right now that this will shrink the tumor.. He did breed with Kiki last month and my vet did say that it wasn't bad for him and will not effect the babies... so maybe we will have some little ones from him ..Tarzan bred with Cappi as well.. I'm hoping they both are pregnant I know I have people waiting for little ones so if they are baking, you will have a baby.. I have no way of know what sex or color as usual, but I hope each girl has a few .. Look at the food you are feeding.. if it has ANY corn or wheat in it then get rid of it.. they have found that all the GA grain is what's causing all the cancer and tumors in animals.. this is heart breaking .. it is also causing it in people as well.. I don't know the answer. My vet had to use 3 scalple blades to get thru Tarzan's neck!! He had never seen such a think tough neck While I was there waiting and watching his surgery the lady from the big cat rescure brought in a baby white tiger cub for Joe to look at.. I got to hold him for Joe while he examined it.. quite a special thing.. You should have heard the growel from him when he smelled me and others.. then Tarzan woke up and made the same growel, we all had a laugh from it.. I want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th.. try and keep cool if you can!

Not sure where to post, so don't yell at me Dan ... I have been trying to let you all know why I haven't been on for a while but it was just too hard for me to post.. We had a very bad day on Friday.. actually for a few days before then but on Friday we had our Vet, Joe, come to the house and we had to let our old dog Ghost Dancer who was our constant companion of 17 years go.. also had to let Sam ( Bears brother) and Pico my 17 yr old Manx go as well.. to loose all 3 the same day was beyond devistating pain. It was time and had put it off as long as we could. It's OK , because they are fine now.. I just wanted to let you all know why I have been off the forum.

Oh wow Arlene, that is heartbreaking. Positive thoughts coming to you from Las Vegas. Ghost looked good when we were there, so sorry to hear about losing him, and then two more on the same day. That is just so sad. Keep you chin up, go play with the babies, and know that their suffering is over.

Thanks guys.. I've been a bit down in the dumps but trying to keep it together.. I got a little nudge from Jackie today so since she was asking about Kiki and if she was preg. I first said I didn't think so but then went out tonight to close up the cattery for the night and give them all a snuggle and a night time treat ( They get mad if I forget to bring them a goodie) and dog gone if Kiki doesn't have a little tummy buldge! So she just might have a few for us coming next month.. should be around the 4th of july!! Oh boy!! Actually Lots of BOYS PLEASE!

It was hard to give you a nudge about Kiki since I knew you are still in morning, Arlene. I kind of felt selfish in doing so. Hopefully knowing that Kiki has a good chance of having babies will cheer you up just a little bit. I remember the day Ron and I met Ghost. His nose was just crusty with mud. He had been out with Kim and they just got back. At first glance I was a little taken back with him. Scary eyes....but then I stepped back when I saw Big Stuff for the first time and he yawned! He has big teeth too!!! We're very excited to have one more kitty. I'm sure it will change the dynamics in the house for the good. Emma and Gizmo were sleeping together yesterday. That's a first. We are in the process of switching from Chicken Soup for the Cat lovers Soul to Blue Buffalo. I didn't see Wheat or Corn in either but i did see Barley and Oats. Sending big hugs and kisses your way Arlene

Oh Jackie.. that is a wonderful picture of Ghost Dancer..( and you ) only Ghost was a female.. I know everyone called her "HIM" but she was a lady through & through Yes, your nudge and the kittens of Cappi's have helped a lot.. loosing 3 at the same time is more then depressing.. but we go on.. Today the little one's came out and were tormenting the big one's every one was hissing, spitting and jumping all over the house it was a riot, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time..I sure hope Kiki has your baby and of coarse one for Monica who has been waiting for her's a long time too..She isn't really concerned about anything but that it be a male like the one she had before that passed away..
The other day I let Big Stuff in the room with the little kids and the little fuzzy black one atacked him with all her 22 claws, she jumped up and clung to his face.. bless his big loving heart he swatted at her like she was a fly bothering him .. then he pulled her off and held her down and gave her a good bath from top to bottom as she hissed and spat at him.. of coarse she was devistated he didn't take her seriously, when he finished she just walked away humiliated.. man they are sure funny

Hahaha....I can just see those big ones jumping! What are these varmints under my feet!!! So our little Black Beauti has a home? I found a feather yesterday. I think it's from our resident Woodpecker. Blue was terrified of it but Big Ol Gizmo was on it!!! That Blue....showed his scardicat side for a change. Glad to hear your having a better day my friend. xoxo My apologies to Miss Ghost Dancer. She sure didn't look like a lady with all that mud on her face

Boy, things are sure quiet.. I know Dan has his hands full at work,.. I don't know about everyone else.. except poor Jackie had foot surgery and is recouping, it would be nice to see a post from Tiff & Zach and a picture of their "Southern Bell" as well as something from Ali.. but I know with Summer comes a lot of outside action so sitting at a computer is good in the winter . I'm waiting on Miss Kiki to do her thing again and if she doesn't give me the males I need then she get's a year off for a well deserved rest.. We will be having the dog gathering the first weekend in August so gearing up for that as well as 3 litters of pups due any time as well.. things are never dull around here with so much going on.. just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive and kicking and working on my kitty orders I also bred Cappi again so I can then let her rest as well..

YOUR BACK!! YEAH!!!
Yes, the Black kitty is now "Moon Pi" and she is living with Rachel in Hood River along with the Ticked sister who we have named "Lynxi" Rachel & I co-own her and she is building a cattery to help me keep breeders and the DLX going, it eases my work load, so for everyone who might want another of my kitties after I'm gone or when I'm too decreped, they will still be around.. The Clouded Leopard in that litter is sitting in my lap right now and her name is "Trinket" She and her sisters will be bred to Simba ( If he is here when they are ready to be bred at around 1&1/2 to 2 years old) and to Monster, who has no one since MeMe was spayed.. so it will be so interesting to see the new generation come up..
