Hi all Just wanted to share a non cat related story from today. We were invited to go to our son and daughter in laws house tonight for dinner tonight. They have a 7 month old girl!!! Of course we are in heaven about the whole thing. Since I have this ginormous kitchen, I thought I'd bake a Carrot Cake. (I don't bake) Didn't have icing sugar for the frosting so I made some from scratch. The whole dang kitchen was white!!! A bit at a loss for tools and ended up dirtying many Ron n I have a rule that if I cook, he cleans up the kitchen. Well you should of heard him belly aching about how many dishes there were. Ahem, we do have a dishwasher Fine, I help him out and then he takes another piece of cake. The end piece that was a bit dry and apparently kinda hard When he started to complain about that, I piped in, "I'll make another one tomorrow! ;D" He said, "Please don't!!! Just buy muffins!!!!" I Love Ron....he makes me laugh 24/7

Come on we know that's not true So if I drive the chuck wagon on the next road trip.. will you help cook Or just eat?? Either way it's fine with me it will be lots of fun ;D Go to the store and buy a cake!! Ron, Jackie is right.. there is a dishwasher in the kitchen,, it's easy to load.. it's not like you have to go down to the creek to wash them

Speaking of sugar, did I ever tell you guys about our friends, Donny and Jo?
They have a doberman that is their "Kid". Her name is Sugar. Yup, same as my wife. It's comical when we go over there and Sugar the dobby will get into something she's not supposed to, and right in the middle of a sentence Donny will yell, "Damnit Sugar, get the hell off of the couch!"
I can't tell you how many times it startles us, and my child bride will jump up off of the couch wondering why she can't sit on it anymore... ;D

Now that is a funny story!! Of coarse the Dobbi is named Sugar.. they are so sweet.. I had one for 14 years. I can just see "YOUR" Sugar jumping when he yells at the dog.. Can you imagine how you would feel if the dog was named Dan?

ok...I'm not getting on here as often I should it looks like! I make icing sugar by putting regular sugar and corn starch in a blender. We also have a double name story. When Ron and I came together we each had 2 boys. Ron had a Dalmatian named Jasper....that's my youngest son's name. Same deal. Ron would yell at the dog (he was about as smart as a sack of hammers) and then the kid would hit the deck. Jasper (the kid) is now 24yrs old and seems to be fairly well adjusted Rons son's name is Brandon....he married a wonderful gal named Jessica. I have very close niece named Jessica who has spent a lot of time with Ron and I. She married a great guy name Brandon! We also have 2 sets of Mike and Darlene's!!!
