The new forum format has added a feature that I always felt was sorely lacking, email notifications. Now, when someone replies to a thread or have participated in, you will get an email, if you want one. No more scanning the forum to see if someone has answered a question, or responded to something you posted. You will get an email, with a link directly back to the post.
There's a couple of catches though (isn't there always?)
One, email notifications only come once a day.
Two, you have to turn this feature on. Here's how:
From the Home Page, click on Profile then Notifications. Then click on Edit Profile. Once you are there click on Notifications. You should see a drop down list of bullets you can click on. Select which one you want, and click Save Notification Settings, and you're done.
Get it? Got it? Good...
