We have been very careful to make the house kitten safe. Keeping all doors closed, cords they could chew on stored, cabinet doors closed, fish tanks secured and are making sure the toilet seats are down.
Yesterday, Sugar cleaned litter boxes, but forgot to close the toilet lid. A few minutes later, she went back to the bathroom, and found both Belle & Bella in the toilet. They were both sopping wet, playing with each other and the water, and having a ball. She got both of them out, toweled them off and set them down. They immediately headed back for the toilet bowl, but Sug shut the lid before they could get back in. She was too panicked at the time to think about pictures, but after she got them out she texted me at work.
I guess it's a good thing, at least we know they won't drown...

Oh yes...the toilet! Does Scooter like to splash in water? Ours sure do, that's why we have a fountain for them to drink from and EVERYONE is instructed to leave the toilet seat down if they visit or they'll be in there like a dirty shirt.....get it.....dirty shirt!!! Hahahahaha...Oh I'm so funny

Hahahahaha...Oh I'm so funny That made me literally laugh out loud. Are you sure we're not related somehow??? No, Scooter has never really had any interest in water. We put him in the pool once to be sure he could swim, and would be okay if he got in accidentally. He swam over to the edge, and climbed out. He wasn't mad or afraid, just not interested. I remember you guys saying you had water cats, and Arlene mentioning it's a DLX trait. Kinda glad these gals are. It's so unusual for a cat to like water. Yeah, we have to watch the toilet seats. They had no issues getting out, but it's not worth the risk. Nor the mess...
