One of Bella's favorits games is making the bed. She knows there are rings under the pillows, and they magically reappear when I make the bed. I toss a ring, she fetches it, and brings it back as I move from one side to the other. She is big and strong enough now, that she can make the leap directly from the bed to the window seat without having to go to the floor first.
Most of the time.
This morning, on her first leap, I missed the window seat when I tossed the ring. The ring bounced off of the seat, and landed on the floor. She started her leap as the ring was in the air, and then tried to adjust her flight path in mid air by looking down at the ring, as it fell from the seat to the floor. She ended up head first right into the wall under the window seat, and rang her bell good. She sulked off for a bit, embarrassed. Took her a minute or two to shake it off, and she was back on the bed, chasing the ring. She learned, however, and didn't try another leap from the bed directly to the window seat. She gingerly went to the floor first, then up to the window seat, and got the ring.
Lesson learned...

She's just like a little kid Dan....I had to laugh before I even read the results cause I pictured it in my head. Like I've said before...you are very good at writing a descriptive story. You should actually write cat books and their antics!!! You actually would be really go at it!!! Cats chasing chickens then Sugar could help out...Hahahahaaa

Thanks Jackie. I actually have done some creative writing, mostly based on motorcycling. Riding is something I've literally done my entire life, and is exciting, and helps me clear my head. I'll see if I can dig up a story, and share it here. I titled one "The Illegal". It's a true story about...
Well, stand by and I'll see if I can find it.
