The back of that bar stool, has been Scooter's "Spot" for quite a while. Until we brought Bella home, and he lost it as a perch. She'll bat at him, trying to get him to play, and he ends up jumping off. She is a Copy Cat, and often takes his high ground on the stool, and then he can't get there. He's such a gentle boy, he just lets her have it. Same with mayonnaise rings, those used to be his toy, she took them over, he let her. There's a lot of Mr. Big Stuff in his personality.
Jenny spends most of her days sleeping on the day bed in the back bedroom. She's slowing down noticeably, and is developing some hip problems. She is noticeably stiff, and it takes her 5 minutes to get comfortable, and lay down. It almost looks like hip displacia (sp?) that large dogs get as they age. Being feral, her gene pool is pretty shallow, so who knows. She's still our munchkin though, poor old girl...

Such a great shot Dan..you can sure see the personality in each face.. Scooter is so much like Stuffy AND Simba.. both have that wonderful laid back way about them and make you just want to hold and kiss them  Now as for Bella,, well she has the kitten look of "Want to play?" and "I'm looking for Trouble".. Bird?? Do you have any idea of Jenny's age? So sad when they get old.. I sure know. |

Yes, Scooter is very chill, he has been so good with Bella. Bella never seems to run out of energy, she got banned from the bedroom last night for the first time. She was wide open throttle bounding on and off of the bed like a wild animal. She ran down the hall, I got up and closed the door behind her.
Jenny is just over 10 years old. Not that old for a housecoat, but may be getting up there for a feral cat...

Great picture Dan. I was thinking that Bella was holding the balance of that chair so it wouldn't tip over with Scooter on the top of it  Blue and Emma were banned from the bedroom in the first week. We could only handle so many take off's off our chests and faces in the middle of the night. Maybe having two kittens at once wound them up more. Bella definitely has the psycho kitty look....sorry about that. Haahhhaaaa I got a close up view of that at Arlene's house with crazy Tank! I was an unfortunate victim of his raceway during one of his lets run along the walls for one split second moments. I'll never forget the image of a crazy ass cat face coming straight at me with ALL fingers out! That was a Kodak moment for sure and I loved it. Sorry to hear about Jenny. We love all our pets for different reasons. |
