We had been getting a little worried about The Big Guy, he looked to be losing a little weight. Not gaunt, but narrower around his belly. I weighed him, and he's right where he always had been, 16 pounds. When I picked hm up to weigh him, I could feel that he's getting more solid. His muscles are harder, and he's not as soft overall. Then it occurred to me, he and Bella are doing a lot of running and playing. Turns out that he is losing fat, and putting on muscle! Bella has become his personal trainer, I guess...

That's so funny.. maybe you can start a new business with Bella.. she could get a lot of fat cats back in shape! Just glad Scooter is OK. I know with Keesu, she sure has a lot of the old lazy cats up and running around the house.. she has more energy then any cat I have ever seen.. she is not a cuddle cat, she is a rip snort ball of fire!! Of coarse when she is worn out, she will come and plop down on my lap, panting with her sides heaving away  I took a video of her but my phone won't let me send it because it is too big a file..  |

He's fine. He has developed the bad habit of messing with Bella though. He'll go pick on her and hold her down with one paw. She rolls over on her back and squeals like she's being killed. Once she escapes, it's a drag race around the house. She's growing like a weed, and think she will eventually be bigger than Scooter. The day when Bella decides she not going to be subservient anymore is coming, and Scoots is going to get his butt kicked by her in the not too distant future...

It's what Scooter needed, a play mate.. after all Jenny isn't really what we call fun now is she  I'm happy they have each other to burn off some of the happy cat stuff with..I know Scooter needed it so he didn't feel weird, after all if he thought all cats were supposed to be like Jenny, it would confuse him  does Bella still like to fetch the rings or have you given up mayo ?? |

She's still fetching them, never seems to get tired of that game. It's to the point that we have friends saving them for us from their mayo jars. She was getting low on rings last week, so we did a search under all the couches and cabinets. I retrieved a dozen or more of her lost rings... Edit: As I was typing a reply to the bird video, Sugar came out and said, "Stick you hand in my slipper" You guessed it, Bella hid a mayo ring in it overnight...  |
