Well Kiki's 3 muffins will be off to their new home this week and then it will be Ron & Jackie's turn to come get their new bundle of joy :-)can't wait to see them again I got a wonderful surprise .. a email from our old friend Ali with a new picture of Cooper.. he said he does peek in on us on the forum from time to time and will send pictures to post on the forum of Cooper soon.. it was good to hear from him and he said he is doing good.. So that is a up date from the Selma ZOO.. we have a big weekend of people coming in so ( not that I'll be missed since no one is on the forum any more) I just thought I would say a few words. I had Big Stuff at the vet yesterday, as he is down even more weight, he has lost over 2# in the last 4 weeks, we did another full work up on him.. He was not happy about it but was his sweet loving self during the whole thing.. as it turns out the lump on his side is not cancer but a fatty tumor.. even if it was tinny, I had to have it checked or couldn't live with my self, all the vet could find was he has borderline hyper thyroid condition and to keep a eye on it and we will check him again in about a month.. at least I can sleep again, I've been so worried about loosing him but he is other wise very healthy, even if he is getting old :-) Happy Mothers day to all the ladies!! We are all mothers even if our kids have 4 leggs,, actually those are much better then the 2 legged kind anyway

Glad Big Stuff is okay, he's such a sweetheart. Scooter is down a few pounds too, but he's actually more solid. It's the Bella workout routine that has him losing weight...

So happy to hear the news of Mr. Big Stuff! So Scooter is loosing weight because of Miss Bella. That's funny. Gizmo is getting pretty big himself. Maybe our little addition will help him to trim up as well.

Maybe our little addition will help him to trim up as well. Yes, he is. He's looking pretty good, and that male cat belly they develop has shrunken a bunch. He seems to be shedding less, which is also good. They are the best of buds, and take turns chasing each other through the house. Chasing is actually an understatement, it gets to be the cat version of the Indy 500 around here at times. Fun, until I become turn 3 on the backstretch, and one of them banks off of my chest while I'm drinking a beer on the couch...

I thought you knew Dan, we people are just spring boards to our cats happiness! I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have the Indy 500 with several of them more then 4 times a day with the occasional bounce off mom, or slide around the corner with a few crashes into something !
Oh, yes, the idea of a few possible snow leopard would be the breeding of Suki, if she can still be bred, that remains to be seen.. I'm not sure about the breeding of 2 Copper Ebonys that carry the snow gene would be a problem, I think it's just the breeding of a actual snow to a carrier of the gene that could be the problem. I have heard from 3 people now who still have their snow leopards and are doing very good and are either 12 or older.. so just a crap shoot I guess.. Poor Jenny, out to eat nuts.. or is it that she is nuts ?? :-) I just have a feeling that a picture of a litter with one or two Snow Leopard in it would really be exciting, I do miss seeing them. .. and Bear was so beautiful..

Well, good luck if you do decide to try of a snow. I'm still fascinated with a white coat with any color spots. Blue eyes would be stunning...

I was looking through my photo album and seeing my Beautiful Bear.. I could never regret having him, with out Bear, there would be no "Kiki" or "Monster" and with out Monster there would be no "Cappi" or "Tank" so how could I regret having had "Bear", even if it was a shorter time then most.. he was 12 I believe when he left me, if I'm remembering right.. maybe he was 10.. I have to look it up, getting too old to remember it all!..I know it was young but it was also wonderful and his beauty, his blue eyes looking at me through his white coat with dark chocolate spots, I think he had a good life, even if it was shorter then the others.. well Yes... I think I might like to try again.. just still thinking it all over I tried to attach a picture of him from my album.. but forgot again how I did it..
