I just took Tarzan out from breeding with Cappi.. So now it's a waiting and guessing game as to who is and who isn't!! I bred Kiki and Simba over a month ago, but no sign yet of what's going on with her.. Rachel was here a week and 1/2 ago with her two Tarzan Cappi girls ( sisters to Trinket) and one was bred to Monster and one to Simba.. so there could be anything from 4 new litters coming to none For me these will be the last litters for Kiki and Cappi. They will be retired and spayed.. Well done girls.. now just enjoy life!! so if Trinket or Keesu don't come in season or are sterile.. then this is it, and it's all going to be up to Rachel to carry on the torch and blood lines

It's not looking real promising with the girls.. I think both Cappi and Kiki are back in season so that is not good news for the waiting list.. however it is really good news for the boys. Simba is prancing around in his compound, he thinks it's really the best news for him.. I guess we will give it another 'shot' for the boys and see if we can hit the spot this one last time, when the girls are in full blown season, maybe in a day or so.. not sure because we are also expecting some very high temps in the 108 + line starting tomorrow, I may not want the boys working so hard in that heat.. just have to see I guess.. Stay tuned..

That's one of my excuses for being so dizzy Now I have the same thing to do for Rachel so she knows which one to breed too.. She has 8 for breeding and I have to try and help her till she gets it all. Oh and she said for me to tell you when you retire to not forget her guest house for skiing in Aspen

We have finally cooled off her on the island. Terrible drought and level 4 restrictions for water. Yes, Rachel has a really nice guest house and she loves company!

I really look forward to meeting her. We had a great telephone conversation awhile back. I didn't realize you were having a drought, Jackie. Such a beautiful place, hope you get some rain soon...

You have no idea what you are in for Dan, Rachel is so funny but then so are both Ron & Jacky.. Or John & Rackie as Rachel calls them I think a riot would be had if we all got together some day! Oh well I just wanted to add a new note to this all// I almost took Keesu in to be spayed because I figured since she was a Simba and Cappi daughter, and her mother is Monster's daughter I just didn't have any one to breed her to and Tarzan being a pumpie riser and she is a total rumpie just didn't want to take the chance of minus tail babies.. so just for good measure I decided to see just how close Keesu is to Monster on the Snow Leopard side, I discoverd she is not a Cappi daughter but a Kiki daughter so in she went with Monster. They have been at it for 2 days and one night.. Now as for the king of the boys, SIMBA, he is not a happy camper that the little punk got the girl and not him.. He let me know in no uncertain terms how he felt about it! I went in the boys cattery last night to close them up for the evening and as I entered, there on the rug was a big pile of poop! I looked at the bench I sit on ( because Simba never sprays he has free roam of the cattery ) and found another pile of poop! Also his bed up on the shelf in his area.. YUP!! Another pile of poop!! To say he is not happy would be a under statement. I had to give him extra love this morning but he is still not happy about my choice at all..

Interesting see what colors you get out of the pairing...

I'm not sure about what colors I'll get but probably most will be Copper or silver/Ebony Leopards.. but you never know, might get a Silver Blue or even a Clouded// it's like XMas each time a litter comes I am however kind of angry with myself as I didn't check Lynxie when Rachel brought her up to breed and we bred her to Monster.. both carry the Snow Gene so this should be interesting to see .. I have heard from several of my 'old' customers that their Snows are still doing fine so .. maybe..

Hi I am Kyle and my Wife Liz are trying to adopt a kitten. Look forward to hearing if any of the girls just bread are preggers.
We really miss Captain Nemo who died last winter. He was from the guy in North Carolina and he was 18 years old when he died.
I am allergic to most cats, but not this wonderful breed. Cant wait to hear!!
Cheers,
Kyle and Liz in Madison, WI.

We are in touch with Arlene, but she said we should keep up to date via the forum. I am just meeting the rest of the bunch and want to get any updates as far as kittens. Is Rachel on the forum as well? Like to hear some news on what she has brewing. We really are missing our cat and need a kitten soon.

I guess I posted in the wrong place or thing are really getting mixed up! Kyle, Rachel is not on the forum.. but her female "Lynxi" who we co-own will have a litter in about 10 to 14 days, she has 5 to 6 kittens according to the Ex-ray at the vet, just not sure.. None of my girls are pregnant but I did just breed Kiki to Simba again yesterday and last night.. there are 7 people on the waiting list with a deposit right now so depending on what Lynxi has I don't know who will be getting kittens.. just a wait and see game. Everyone has a certain color or sex or foot type, so it depends on what comes out as to who get's what.. always a fun time!
