Thanks Guys, I', officially out. Sure feels good. Working on growing my hair back, and a beard as well. Currently in Texas visiting Tiff, Zach, Belle and the other kids... So cool, I'm so happy for you and I guess this New Years eve you can kiss Sugar at midnight! I'm guessing no beer in the hot tub , but good friends and your wife, doesn't get much better does it? Oh and Belle is as beautiful as I remember her.. So having a beautiful DLX as well to add to it all !  .. HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERY ONE! |

I actually look like a vagrant. Really hoping the beard grows out and fills in. My hair is at that stage between high-n-tight, and too short to get a haircut. And thanks Ron, I'm having a blast! After the week in Texas, and now that the holidays are over, I'm getting to experience what it's like to do. Nothing...
Turns out there are a ton of things I never had time to do. I work on a one project to another when I get up, then plan dinner. I'm actually a pretty good cook, if I do say so myself. It's nice to not have to worry about, well, anything. Today, I set up Sugar's Christmas present, and new computer. Her old one wouldn't do much of anything anymore. Got it all set up, cords zip-tied out of the way, and monitor adjusted. Yesterday, I throughly and carefully cleaned a couple of guns. The day before, I worked on the landing gear on my plane. I actually put on pants one day this week...

Well, looking like a vagrant would fit right in around here.. but I don't know what part of TX you were in, but having lived there in Arlington and in Brownsville TX myself, I don't remember "Pants being optional" You can actually Cat proof a computer?? You are my hero.. I bet Sugar is happy.. you are a good man! |

We were in The Dallas area this time. It's where Tiff, Zach & Belle moved to after being in the Houston area. I try to wear pants as seldom as possible, if it's 50 degrees or above, I'm in shorts. They just don't work on the motorcycle well.
The cats, are actually pretty good staying off of the computer, and out of other places they don't belong. That's one thing we love about the DLX, they are smart! It takes exactly three times of being squirted with a water bottle, and a firm "No!" and they get the message. We recently had to buy a new leather couch as the top of the backrest of the old one was all cat clawed up from them doing burn-outs. We decided when we got the new couch, that area was going to be off limits. Of course, it was a favorite area, so they immediately jumped up there as soon as the new couch was delivered. Every time either Scooter or Bella got up there, we moved them down to the seat, and told them "No". It took more than three times, but they now know that's off limits, and they are fine with it.
Smart...
Both Sugar & I are enjoying me being retired. She still has to shop (I always hated shopping, always will) as she now makes more than I do. But I plan and prepare the meals, and some of them would make Chef Ramsey proud, if I do say so myself! This retirement thing is the best thing I've ever done. I feel 10 years younger, 20 pounds lighter, the sky is bluer and the air is sweeter. I highly recommend it!!!
