I just returned from my vet.. Kiki is pregnant and do any day now, I've been worried ( what else is new) so I took her in for a ex-ray because she is acting strange..she is huge and weighed in at 19 lbs, well the ex-ray showed one!! But it is the biggest one my vet or I have ever seen.. not sure she will be able to deliver it, may have go go for a C section Of coarse with Tarzan being the dad, it's really not a surprise the baby is big but this one is huge.. She is due any day now as far as I can tell.. fingers crossed she has a nice delivery and both she and the "baby" are good. I was going to say " the little one" but believe me, this is not a little one. This will be one for the books!

OH MY ARLENE! So you'll be prepared with your catchers mitt for her I hope! What in the world will you do if its a C-section? How far will she go before you know for sure? Does the vet make house calls...at 3am? A Tarzan baby for the books. Love it and praying that all come through it healthy. Sending much love from our funny farm to yours.

Kiki's baby boy was still born at midnight. she went into labor at 11 and just a hour later after 2 pushes he was out. It was so sad, Kiki was upset all night .. there was nothing I could do. I tried everything, CPR, mouth to mouth, even knowing when he came out that he was gone.

Thanks everyone. I appreciate all the kind words, I wish I could share them with Kiki, she was so depressed. She is doing better now, back out with the other girls in the cattery and although she does look at me ( which to me looks like a sad look,)and will come over to check my hands when I go in still.. other then that she is doing good. I give her extra pets, hugs and kisses, she likes it.
Now I wait on Trinket and her first litter due the end of this month.. sure hope this will be Happy news!! Sure do need it.

No, not really, we were trying to decide between calling him KiZan, or KiTar.. a cross between Kiki and Tarzan but then we also thought because of the size of him that maybe "Kong" for"King Kong" would better fit, but when he didn't make it, he was just buried with a broken hear sign..
